The useful questions to answer before another appliance takes up permanent space in your kitchen.
Usable capacity, not litres alone
A wide basket can be more useful than a deeper one because food cooks best with space around it. Consider the meals you repeat, not the biggest meal you might cook once a year.
The worktop cost
Measure the appliance with its drawer fully open and include ventilation space. If it has to be carried from a high cupboard every time, you may use it less than expected.
Cleaning and replacement parts
A removable basket with simple surfaces usually matters more than another cooking mode. Check whether baskets, trays and other wear parts can be replaced.
